Dear AccessSurgery Customers,

We would like to communicate a development concerning AccessSurgery. Recently, we learned that a title on the site, Skandalakis Surgical Anatomy, was subject to a copyright dispute between the Author (Dr. Lee Skandalakis) and the Publisher/Licensor (Broken Hill Publishers, formerly known as PMP). Due to this, we have chosen to remove the title from the site until the dispute between Author and Publisher is settled. Afterwards, we can renegotiate terms with the copyright owner. Please note that Skandalakis Surgical Anatomy is the only licensed title on AccessSurgery. All other titles on the site are wholly owned by McGraw-Hill.

For additional information on surgical anatomy, Zollinger’s Atlas of Surgical Operations, Maingot’s Abdominal Operations, and Schwartz’s Principles of Surgery have a rich collection of surgical anatomy illustrations.
